Time had followed the fairies into the smallish flowery clearing. His boys were safely at the camp while being guarded by Warriors. Most of the Links were already asleep when he told he’d take a walk. The Chain wasn’t too worried as they were in sacred grounds. In fact, they really weren’t needing a night watch shifts while at there. Yet, it just had felt comforting to know one of their own was also keeping check on their surroundings.
At first it had only been a feeling what the one eyed male had been tracking. He felt bit uncertain of having left Hyrule to the camp but the youngster had exhausted himself after that battle with few black bloodied Iron Knuckles and Dark Nuts. Those beasts had taken them off guard despite their armor and enormous size.
The Chain’s leader knew he and his boys were really in the need of the rest but he couldn’t ignore the call he heard. The quiet chimes were clearly only meant for his ears as the Traveler hadn’t even twitched when the first sound had come. And there was nothing he wouldn’t do for these little flying helpers. After all, those benevolent beings had raised him, given their magic to him and taught their language to him. He owed to them a lot.
